Is paypal plugin available for India ?

I am hearing a lot about PayPal plugin and want to use it as
I can use the paypal account instead of relying on my parents credit card.
But when I try to install this is says that
"This feature is available only for the United States"
but I read is some blog that even it is available for Indians.
can someone clarify this ? btw my account is verified

Is it really supposed t be for US only?Cause i am from Greece and i saw the promo today,and i would love to have something like this on my browser.So is there any confirmation i am not eligible to use it?I mean it's just a plug-in,what is it that makes it not compatible with countries outside US?

 

Did you just see it before you log in or after you log in ? Because if it is just before you log in, it is just a standard advert. After you log in then you see the specific for your country.

 

No i saw it after i logged out.Where do i find information about it after i log in?

We’re sorry but the PayPal Plug-In is currently only available in the United States and is not offered in any other country at this time.

 

Paypal Virtual Credit Card (VCC) was an early beta release of the
now (paypal plug-in).

The plug-in is only available for us now.

 

The plugin is for us people only and might not be introduced in india and indians can craete vcc using hdfc banks netsafe account.

 

For other countries how can you create a vcc?
