Is paypal gonna restrict my sending limit and limit my account?

Ok, So I havn't accepted much money in the past with paypal. I have used them for sending money many times but sometimes for sending, it gives the error:-

"This payment can not be funded with the credit card at this time"

So, I talked to their customer support and they said their probability model doesn't allow it and I will have to make the payment outside paypal. Which I did.

Now I NEED to accept $400 through paypal from a company. I am worried they can limit my account (cuz of their probability model) after accepting the money, since I havn't accepted money in the past.

I've read many stories about people's merchant's account getting limited when they suddenly get higher volume of sales and so on...

How do I know they can limit my account. And for goodness sake, please tell me what to do if account does get limited and you are unable to withdraw or send money from paypal balance ?

    Thanks.

You won't have any problem accepting the funds and don't worry your account won't get limited.

The stories you hear are about the people who have a poor track record. As in -
    1 Use of "VCC's",
    2.Refund Problems !
    3. Fake ID's
4 Multiple Account creation with the same user info.

You can't get your account limited for "withdrawing funds", untill and unless you cross over the monthly withdrawal limit.

on the other hand for the limited "sending limits", you must verify your account using a CC or a VCC (not recommended).

I have a unverified paypal account, my withdrawal limit is $2000 and I don't have a problem withdrawing funds, infact I receive the funds within 36 hrs.

My sending limit is limited but I never wanted to use a VCC to uplift it. Applied for a CC and will be a verified seller soon !

Make sure that you are honest in the deal and have it properly documented so that you would not face any problem. If your transaction get flagged, at least you can submit invoices and proof of delivery to get it lifted.

In any case, do not ever get the other party to send you money through the 'Send Money' method. It is one of the mistake that people here have been repeating over and over again. Use the Request Money tab to do a request money or the invoice. Do it the right way.
