    is payapl Not accepting HDFC bank debit card?

    credit card is working fine but debit card not accepting.

    i am entering right number but i see this error

    "You have entered an invalid or incomplete credit or debit card number. Please check your entry and try again."

    what can i do?

    This is simple Banks have no authority to process transaction out side the country. When someone try to attach debit card, Paypal try to make some transaction to validate if card no. is real or fake and bank refuse that transaction due to lack of permission. So Paypal refuse that debit card.

    Paypal now support debit cards and they blocked Debit cards last year.So Credit Cards are running on Paypal properly :)

    Oh that is great news, i have an axis bank debit card, time to get it upgraded to gold i suppose.

    Paypal has never been accepting debit cards as funding from Indian bank accounts is not permitted, using debit cards is same as using your bank account, so i assume till they change the rules and starts accepting paypal funding from bank accounts for Indians, i dont think we will ever be able to use debit cards.

    Apply for a credit card. Many Indian Banks issue credit card against fixed deposit.

    Paypal accepting Debit cards also ffor INDIA. Its a mandatory to add Debit or credit card. I have Added debit card of SBI bank
