    Hi All,

I'm wondering if Pay Per Click services in general are trustworthy? Last year I tried Yahoo Pay Per click and Kanoodle. I normally will put in $20 to $25 for both Yahoo and Kanoodle. I noticed that on their reports, it showed that it had lots of clicks to my website. But when I looked at my website traffic report, it only showed few people had actually visit my website. Both services used up my $20 to $25 every few days. I must of wasted over $500 in one month without anyone purchasing any items from my website. I'm wondering if Yahoo or Kanoodle have someone working for them actually clicking on my website just to deplete the amount that I put into their service? Does anyone else have this type of problem with Pay Per Click services? Right now I just don't trust them.

    Mike

You're speaking from an advertiser's point of view. From a publisher's point of view I would say PPC is absolutely NOT trustworthy. You're pretty safe with the big companies - AdSense, YPN, MS adcenter, AdBrite - because to them reputation means everything. The smaller ones I'm not so sure about. How can you tell that they are paying you for each click you receive? How can an advertiser tell that their money is going to the publisher and not the greedy PPC company? It's a tricky one because to try and prove one way or the other you actually have to break the rules.
