Nope it's junk traffic and can potential harm your site as well as sending your bounce rate through the roof. Avoid.
It's hard to beat word of mouth advertising, but Google just came out and pretty much said no data will be tracked on keywords, and mainly to focus on using PPCs through Google AdWords. Also read somewhere, that writing articles, and distributing them are coming to an end for SEO value worth. Some people reach out to other related companies to have a link back from a positive source. Kind of like, I'll write a blog for you, if you allow me to put myself in the blog. You're giving them the content, and they just post it to their site!
Look if anyone could get this much traffic then why don't they use it for themselves, they would have much more money to use it themselves then sell it for cheap 5$ like the gigs found on fiverr. So I would say they are fake and just take your money for nothing. I wouldn't suggest using paid traffic, I think it is just a big lie.
let me ask you this, what would you prefer, 1 million clicks on your site but zero sales, or 200 clicks and 20 sales, because the million clicks is a bot that cannot buy anything (they don't issue credit cards to bots yet, paypal accounts maybe but not CC's) but the 200 are people who found what you are selling Facebook ads are real people and do work but you need to really know what you are doing to make it cost effective, so get a LOT of info first
