Is overture always correct?

I found a keyword combination in my niche and it has about 82000 monthly searches but only shows like 1.8 million results in google. The biggest pagerank on the first page is 4.

My question is if I can trust the overture keyword tool?

Number of searches per month shown in Overture's Keyword tool, and Number of results for that keyword in Google, ar two different things.

You can have 650.000 searches per month for a certain keyword (antivirus) and 35 mil. results in Google.

Or you can have 140 searches per month for a certain keyword (two way internet) and 260 mil results in Google.

YES. You can trust overture, but only relating that search numbers, to Yahoo ant the rest of the Overture network searches.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that Smetten was implying that the two were the same. The way I read it was... the number of results is low, relative to the number of searches per per month. And since the highest PR in those results is 4, there appears to be a good chance to rank high in those results.
