Is other registars giving errors when looking.

    I am tring to purchase a domain over at namecheap and it is giving me this error. I tried it over at another register (whiz.in) and same error there too.

    Is the name server/ whois down?

    When I log into to Namecheap earlier, there was a warning about the .com/.net issues. Now it seems to be resolved already.

    It is resolved. The .com / .net registry was having problems last night for a few hours. sucks for those people that want a certain domain and lost it cause of it.
