    Why are you saing it's a lie? at the time of the russian invasion yes the US was quite happy to have him and supported him financially. they used when the needed him.

    And your evidence of this is?

    We supported the northern alliance.
    OBL was a bit player - at best. He saw only very limited combat during the whole ordeal.
    He had his own money, over $100 million or something. He did not need us nor want us.
    He got a lot of influence during the 90's when the Taliban arrived.

    I didn't think I spoke in long sentences, nor ones that were overly complex.
