Is orkut better than fb?

I think it must be depending on several things like our taste, region etc...some people say orkut is best some other says fb is best. But both are good.

 

i like orkut than facebook i can manage my friends and community easily in orkut

I don't think orkut high pr helps any one website.

 

I personally like FB better than Orkut. FB helps you connect and share with the people. User-friendly Social Networking site.

 

The thing with Social Media is each site has its won personality.
FB seem to be more professional and targets a mature crowd.
Orkut seem to be more popular amongst students and similar crowd.
I use FB to keep in touch with my professional friends.
I use Orkut for gossiping and timepass activities.

 

I'll have to give Orkut a go I think - I hate how bland Facebook is

U have never tried using Orkut.. I am purely a Facebook user.. What's best about Facebook are the Applications they have provided and not the Colorful backgrounds that seems to be not so useful .

I use facebook and like it much. I think it is better than orkut.

 

I think Orkut is aimed more towards Portuguese and/or hispanic ethnicity, whereas Facebook is generally accepted anywhere around the world. Granted this doesn't limit Orkut's audience to just that, but the majority of it's members are of latin descent, I believe.

 

Also, you have to be 18 years or older to sign up on Orkut.

On facebook, you can be 13.

Seriously, now... Forget Orkut (unless you want to promote to Brazil or Japan, in that case, power to you, brothaaaa!)

I also think FB is a little better then Orkut...On any standard really.

 

We can't say best to any of them as both are good somewhere, Some like totally white page of FB and some need a color of orkut

I'm using both and i think both are okay

 

Now a days everyone is going towards FB. Its main power is its games.

Orkut is best for beginner in social networking site. But for professional social network I always prefer facebook.
