    Or, in what sense do you wonder if Orkut is better then FB? Facebook is the largest and most active online community in the world. I don't care about "meeting people with related interests" on any website, I care about making shitloads of money...

    And FB is where it's at for that. Period. :)

    Also, Facebook never claims to be a fantastic place to make new connections. It's purpose is to connect you to people you KNOW, so that you can stay in touch with them. Of course there are some features like "Suggest a Friend" etc.. but honestly, I don't think anyone uses that shit...

    Anyway, I hope you are at DP to learn to make money online, not to find out how to make friends on the internet :p

    Facebook has too much security are you sure ? I recently heard that facebook has allowed the advertisers to use the personal images of people. Damn I never want that security.

    Orkut is good so as fb but truely fb looks professional where as orkut looks not. Also FB is acceped everwhere, more users than ORKUT too that even shows which is better

    Since we are webmasters ,Facebook is much better than Orkut for us . In Facebook there is integration with social networking sites like Digg , Friendfeed ,Twitter etc . There is 1000 friends limit in Orkut . Also the webmaster community is not much active in Orkut .

    There is 1000 friends limit in Orkut... Is this really true. I never know that. I mean are you sure of that. And yes many communities are not active on Orkut.
