Is .org good for a company site???

    just want to ask

    I build my company site with a .ORG domain (in my sig),

    but now i'm confused, is .ORG good for business site!!!

    .org is mainly for nonprofit organisations (charities etc).

    I know someone who has a .org website for their Entertainment Company and it has done them well in regards to Google Ranking.

    A .org tld is normally for Organisations but i do not see any direct issue (other than possible client confusion) with the .org tld.

    so i confused , if need to reg a new domain??? worked so hard on this domain, submite to directories, build backlinks for a almost 1 weeks now~~~waste of time???

    any suggestion???
