    Hi.. friend,

This is my experience as i see open source programmes are just creating a problem for the website developers. How lets take the example meena sharma opts for open source software to run its website. she is not aware how can it be optimized since she is not connected with internet professionals. so the site will be just a waste for her as she will not get any onlijne enquiry. then oviously she will curse the website indirectly to the internet industry. So I suggest all my industry friends always suggest not to use open source projects. pls suggest me your feedback
    thanks

Are you a troll by any chance?

If it wasn't for open source you wouldn't be in the position to post on this forum. Your argument is flawed.
Even this forum is on a FreeBSD server running Apache, running PHP and MySQL.

Open source has proved time and time again that it's the best way to produce quality, stable and secure code.
Go ahead and recommend paid software to your friends - you're a fool for thinking it's better.

I suppose you think Internet Explorer (closed source) is superior to Firefox or Chrome (both open source) as well? :)

I don't see how open source software has anything to do with the problem you've given. I don't see how meena sharma would benefit from the opposite. Are you saying open source will be a waste because it's not well documented?

A non-technical person cannot modify an open source script (saved the learning time...).
A technical person can get an open source script, customize and modify to create a better script for his/her own use (saved the develop time...).
Looks like a win-win situation to me.

I use Zend Framework in all my projects. If not for Zend I would need to spend hours to develop a Framework from scratch
