    Well both OnPage and OffPage are important. Onpage help your pages/website to cut the most of that is not so called competition. like pages above 5-10. If you have done a lot of study and implementation on your website then results will definitely be shown. Search engines will put your page on best place without any Offpage optimization. Once you got a rank in Top 10-15 Page. then you can shoot-up for offpage optimization for a particular keyword or page that is ranked without any efforts.

    Position: Google.co.in >>> 6th Page

    Only on site optimize is not enough on site and off site two are more important for back linking if you want to optimize your site first of all you should add your site on webmaster tools then Google optimize your site.
