Is Online Cricket Betting in ladbrokes, bet365 legal in India?

Hey guys,

Except horse racing, i think no other sports betting is legal in India.

Now bet365.com, ladbrokes.com and other online betting sites which are primarily European companies have bets for International Cricket matches also. So is it legal to deposit money in these online sites by using my Indian credit/debit cards and play sports bet there?

I am very much interested in Cricket match bets, mainly for the Twenty20 International and looking for IPL season2 betting also.

I want a legal advice.

 

the safest way is open a moneybookers account and desposit money into it and then use mb funds for betting websites, as i think indian cc issuers dont allow payments to betting websites

 

hmm.. ya moneybookers seems to be promising way.

First I thought of using paypal.. but Indian paypal account is not supported.

It would be best to directly inquire at these websites itself to know their preferred payment options.

Since cricket betting is not legal in India, you would not be able to fund the same using the money of any banks through CC. You would have to fund them directly with your own resources!
