From your topic: "Is online business is more effective than online business?" - I'd say online business is better than online business.

What do you mean by "effective" by the way?
For me, both online business and offline business are good and I do both - but I like online business more as I don't have to leave my room as often.

It really depends to be honest. Both offer different opportunities and you can honestly make money both ways.

You can make alot of money offline if you focus your time. Many offline businesses don' t have a clue about online marketing. So if you are in the consulting industry, you can easily make some good money by helping them out with their website.

Both are effective, the only deference is that in online business you convince your buyer or visitors with virtual appearance of your product.

Well depends on your business models I guess. The offline business here in Hong Kong can be profitable but the rent is damn expensive.

Leaving only the monopoly to some big companies..

It depends on the business. But in reality, doing an online business is quite easy when compared to real world business. The advantage of online business is that you could work at any time from any where & your business will operate 24x7.

What you say? All Your Base Are Belong To Us.

Okay if you didn't get that joke look it up online. As for online or offline business I would have to say it depends on how you setup and manage your business. Having a Brick and Mortar business has the old sense of business attached to it. You immediately gain trust by just being seen as a business with a storefront.

Online though is a different story with a the scams that you see. Like the google payday scam or whatever that you have to purchase some kind of money making report. Red Flag for me personally when I see something like that.

Building trust online is harder because at first you have to set yourself up as being trust-worthy. Once you have that trust if you waver in any way people will never return. So long story short it depends on the business and how you run it.

it really depends on the business model, online you have a whole world of users at your finger tips, but offline you have a good passing trade everyday which can make people impulse buy when they dont really need too.

people are lazy these days too, as simple as online purchasing is.

overall both are equally as good and if you can do both i.e have a website to complement your offline business then your sorted.

    Yes indeed.
The overhead is lower than offline biz.
And most important is the operation of online biz is 24/7/365.

If you have decent skills (SEO, IM, webdesign,...), it's much easier to sell your skills offline than online.

To argue with you, I think McDonalds is doing pretty well, so is BMW, Ariston, Shell, Henkel, and many others, note they all refer to different (offline) consumer markets. So what do you personally feel like you'd be better at? Find what's best for you and work hard, be it an online or an offline business.

No one can edit the title anymore. LOL
By the way, I could say that they are both ok. As long as you know how to run such business.

A moderator should be able to fix that within a few easy moves.
On the other hand, I think the mistake is what made me read the title twice, then click it to see what the thread is about :)
