Is one banner enough for a site?

    I just started my new site and finished a couple of pages, but just wondering if one banner is good enough to make my site look good, or I need more banners to add more visual on the site? Please comment.

    Me personally only have one banner.
    I like to think banners are a websites signature. Sounds cheesy I know, but that's what I think.

    The site is a bit too web1.0 for me, but it's well structured and doesn't need more banners etc.
