Is October a brutal time of the year for sales or what?

Hi all. I'm thinking there is something wrong with my account. It's been a brutal week, and a brutal couple weeks. Not sure, but is this a slow time for you guys also? Does October usually suck like this? I'm new to this ecommerce/affiliate stuff. Any help is appreciated.

October is normally by absolute best month of the year for Amazon sales, because I have a handful of DIY Halloween costume ideas with amazon affiliate links that rank very highly in SERPS.

September was a bit slow for me this year and also at the beginning of October, but for the last 10 days is best ever. Don't worry, holiday season is just behind corner and sales will go up again.

Really depends on your niche and whatnot, but generally speaking it is quite possible that you are seeing a pre-Christmas lull in sales. Hopefully things will pick up for you Nov and Dec. I am seeing a lull with some programs and not others, so it's hard to say...

I actually came in here to ask if other people are experiencing very slow sales. I've had at least a ONE sale every day for over 2 months. Now over the last four days I haven't had any sales at all (and I'm still getting over 100 clicks every day) that seems very strange to me. Quite concerning!

I've only been using amzn for a few months but so far Oct is the best yet. I suspect that Nov will be best month of the year due to christmas buying.

Halloween should help a bit but Christmas should be the best.

Things seem to be picking back up for me, maybe the slow few days was just a coincidence.
