Yeah I saw that video, ridiculous! Of course, that's just like the Warren OH cop who tazered a drunk women several times and all of a sudden she's blind.

I mean one shot should be more than enough, those cops should of never shot more than 2 times if that. I see no need for anything more than 2.

You can hear them yelling at each other after the suspect is surrounded by officers. One of them says something like "you coc* sucking mother fuck*er you tried to run me over". So, as is usually the case, this video is not giving the full story.

 

Still....Total overkill, literally. One bullet in the right location, will stop him just as fast as 50

It's easy to talk about what is and isn't overkill from the comfort of our office chairs. It's different when you're chasing a suspect who may have already tried to run over an officer. I'm not sure exactly what the laws or procedures are, and they probably vary from state to state or even from one police department to the other, but I think once an officer's life is threatened it's pretty much over from there, they shoot to kill.

 

No what you said is Rev Al was there for minorities, the man in the video was white boy.

I totally understand, i agree shoot to kill, but like i said, one bullet kills just fine, and in this particular video there were more than one officers shooting.

Its really a case of lacking self control. I believe officers should have some form of control, once the decide its ok to pull that trigger.

This went from trying to stop a dangerous man, to deciding his fate without due process.

This wasnt "we gotta stop this dangerous man"

He is trying to give voice to minorities, but that is as the result of minorities asking him for help. I am sure he would do the same for anyone that asks for his help
