Hi, domain I want is taken www.coinschange.com (just an example domain)
Is it a good idea to register www.coins2change.com?
I feel it looks kinda cheap, I want to build a good name for my business and I feel domain like this can let me down. What is your opinion? Thanks

I've heard a lot of people don't like it, but I dunno.

If you're doing it for SEO reasons, I don't see how it can be bad.

Even if you won't be using SEO but plan on having the domain for a long time, why not?

Could work. Just take some time to investigate what successful sites use numbers in their domain names.

If you want your website to appear on Google's search result, then it doesn't really affect your overall SEO rankings as long as you have lots of high quality backlinks. But if you want your website to be remembered by your costumers, I would suggest you to find a simpler domain. An example of a successful website that has a number in the domain is 4shared.com

Yeah exactly I am worried about customers. I feel like number in a domain will make my business look cheap, secondary......something you would do for some wordpress website but not for a business

Basically a numbered domain considered as a spammer domain by most of search engines - see for yourself and try how many you gona find.

As always, there are exceptions. For example, I have an undeveloped LLLLLLN.com domain for which I've received serious offers. But generally, for a real site I would pass or make sure I have the corresponding letter domain as well.

I think you should go for what you feel like is the best variant. Numbers in domains do look cheap, as you said, so go for letters-only url.

Absolutely not! It will kill the value of the value of the domain & will also loose traffic to people who will type out the word.

I have some affiliates using numbers in their domains and they are doing great!
I think it's a good idea, innovative and eventually will be easier to remember... have to give it some time.

This can be relevant depending on the niche and the desired audience of your site. If you are targeting young adults, this is find since they can relate to words like that.

Can agree that hyphenated will be better than domains with number.
Search engines can distinguish your keywords better and thus return your site more prominently in search results for those keywords occurring in your domain name.
