Is Nofollow link will be not indexed by Google?

Hi,

Almost all people say that nofollow backlinks will not be indexed by Google so such links are useless but I found in my Google webmaster there are many nofollow links captured.

So, is it still true that nofollow backlinks will not get indexed?

Please share your experience.

Links from sites that use the nofollow attribute can still be indexed by the search engines, which makes the rumors you heard false. The only truth about having links from sites with nofollow is you are not passed a link juice and it don't have an effect on your PageRank. Check the definition of nofollow in Wikipedia, you will also learn what nofollow is and is not for.

Well, My personal experience is that No follow links are useless neither counts nor indexed. These are just beneficial in one case that if you are getting link from a huge website like Facebook, Youtube or Wikipedia etc. No doubt it will still consider no follow but due to respect of such huge site your website's worth will increase in the shape of traffic.

 

Nofollow link also will be indexed in google. But it will give less priority than dofollow link

 

It brings traffic for you but not effective for page rank.

Noffolow doesn't pass PR .... but who cares about PR ..

 

well a bit of no follow links are required.i mean ur links shud look natural...a blend of nofolow + doffolow will be better than all do follow links imo..although no link juice wil pass from nofolow links i think the experts will agree on this
