    nofollow links will bot be indexed in google but will be in yahoo. So, it is up to you where is your target is.

    no follow links are absolutely working very well for me.
    60% of the traffic i drive for me are from no follow links.
    they help a lot in driving traffic
    also it benefits in yahoo rankings.

    For me,they have worked well so far.
    I have numerous links from nofollow blogs and even nofollow forums.
    This is also true that,it means nothing for Google but Yahoo,Msn,Alltheweb and Altavista indexes nofollows.

    I was under the impression that nofollow was just that...to instruct search engines not to follow

    I've never knew that nofollow links are being indexed by yahoo, wow. I have many links form the nofollow sites and I haven't notice anything good from them except the traffic - but sometimes it might be more valuable than indexing by google.

    No of course not. They are noted that they exist and factored in some obscure way.

    no fallow links will helpful for traffic point of view as well as yahoo/msn/live/ask optimizations.
    you can drive traffic for your site from no fallow links.
    and who knows in those traffic you can got the conversion leads for your site.

    you can get traffic with no follow links.
    and if we need traffic, we don't need to think about dofollow or no nofollow.
    i am also linking with some nofollow sites.

    so nofollow link is also useful.
