Hi All, I just wanted to ask and see if a survey I have been doing for 2 1/2 years is worth anything. The survey asks traders and investors a series of questions, 7 in all, some of which ask questions relating to what they want in way of help and advice, as well as questions about what they trade, how they trade and where they see their success and/or failures. One of the questions asks, 'What is your most burning question', and often the responses I see are exactly the sorts of things I see marketers using in their promotions etc, i.e. they seem to be selling the idea that they answer some of these same concerns, although not all. Anyway, the survey has seen a total of 446 participants fill it out, and I was wondering whether this information is of value, and if so, what should I ask for it if I was to sell it to product creators, trading/investing related web owners, brokers etc? Are there people who specialize in the selling of survey information? Oh, and I think it important to mention that all the participants are anonymous, therefore there is absolutely no personal information in the survey. Cheers
That's pretty interesting. As a trader and a marketer on behalf of trading outfits, I would think that your data certainly has some value. Try approaching some of the brokerages and see if they are interested in it, that's my guess. It will take some work, but I think you should be able to sell your info. Mind you, if I were a buyer, I would ask for some sort of confirmation that the data is genuine, and for details as to how it was collected etc... May I ask what your site is about more specifically? Hi, The process of gathering the data is quite simple. People opt-in to my site here www.atradersuniverse.com and receive log in details to log in to the members area, in which they get the chance to complete the survey in exchange for a new report that is not advertised in the main site. My site is an information site covering many aspects of trading including technical analysis, trading system development, trading systems, emotional management, business planning, a directory and more.
