I was wondering,if anyone, can tell me if my site:www.namibia-safari.net is SEO friendly and maybe where I can improve my SEO on the site.

I have tried optimizing it for the keywords 'namibia safari' and 'namibia safaris'
but up to this stage,I rank nowhere for them.

The SEO,I have done on the site is the following:
    keywords tag
    description tag
    title tag

    backlinks
    submit to directories
    link exchange

If somebody, could help me on this regard,it will be helpful.

    Thank You
    Dassie

Did you optimize your site with the 10 current competing sites for the your keywords ?
Also alt tags to your images will help.

    Hi Dassie,

Try to utilize headers tag like H1, H2 and H3. I noticed that you do not have a start tag H1 on your homepage but there is an end tag for it..Headers are important for the search engine to decide how relevant is your content to the queries.

In addition, your keywords do rank in MSN and Yahoo but not in Google. Try to use the following tool to check out your SERP:

You may attract more relevant inbound links to increase ranking for Google :)

    Good Luck!
