is my site logo is professional or not?

I just created my directory site logo in just 2 hours and i am not a professional.
please let me know what do you think about it. i really want to improve it

i think you banner's background should be same grey color in the header.and you can use the same font with the directory category titles.

 

I don't think it looks professional at all because of the colors that clash and the.. white background behind the grey content area..

I do like the site design but the logo brings the quality of the site down tremendously.

First, make the background the same as the rest of the header. Second, pick 1 or 2 colors maximum for the logo. Third, get rid of the the text effects and just make a simple, clean text logo.

They're not hard to make at all..

 

It looks ok, but you could do some major upgrading to make it really stand out.

And I agree....Change your logo if you can. Clean it up and make it look sharp, instead of distracting (use different colors).

 

It doesn't really stand out, it could do with being in bold and slightly larger.

yeh its best to hire someone an expert at logo design, I can't say I enjoy that much

 

You cant use a reflection effect when theres a letter with a section that hangs below the rest, like a 'y' or 'g' it varies from font to font.

I'd suggest a different font for the words in your logo. It kind of takes out the professional in professional.
