Hi all, I run a business webdesign company website and am doing Search Engine Optimization for it by myself. I applied the Search Engine Optimization strategies like directory submission, social bookmarking, blog commenting, article submission and some forum posting in my niche. An week ago I was in Google search position for 3 of my keywords. But yesterday when I was checking for my Search Engine Result Pages, I was thundered. What happened to my site? It is not showing any result for Google search query. Now I am very afraid about Google's new update? Is it affected my site? Please help me in this issue any expert.

    Thanks a lot.

Maybe because low PR backlinks only your website might got affected in Google search engine ranking for particular keyword. But you lost one keyword ranking or all ranking of your website in Google SERP.

It's more than likely due to you creating far too many links at once and also due to poor link quality. The SEO game has changed alot of the past year and it boils down to creating quality content, with correct on-site SEO and quality back-links. Quality over quantity. Better to have 1 quality link than 10 poor quality links.

Try to maintain quality of your links means that relevancy, high PR and low OBL link are more better than hundred of unranked links. Another thing some time it disappear for few days but after recover its ranking after few days.

No no, I think Google now dont prefer and like paid links, but relevant, high PR and low OBL links are appreciated. Leave Directory submission because it is not effective on Google any more

Manually submitted link and manually approved links are more better than paid directories.

^ yes, I agree with Afrasiab. The penguin updates have actually devalued links from directories. Not only do they not help, they hurt you. So paying for links on directories is like paying someone to flog you. Idk if you are into self-mutilation but that's essentially what you are doing right now. Also the reason you ranked for your keywords for a bit was because of the blog comments. They can be effective, but they have a high turnover rate. They often disappear after only a short time and are not worth the effort. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF RELEVANT HIGH PR BACKLINKS! If you are serious about ranking for your keywords then cancel the directory shite and invest 100 bucks a month in relevant high PR backlinks. If you ranked with directory links and blog posts, you will be first page no problem if you do this.

Also what Deez said is true. Your link flow needs to look natural to google. If you put 100 links out there over the span of a day or two and then stop it is very obvious to google that they are not natural. SEO is a time consuming process. Can take months or years, even. But you can do it. I believe in you :D

Pay careful attention to on page SEO. You can rank very well with just a few good links and good on page SEO. Google also pays attention to your "social signals". Make sure you have a presence on all the big social networks. Give people something to talk about and they will share your link.
