    I think you are confused, Google Analytics is software for reporting on your site visitors, you don't have to optimise for it just embed the code in your pages.

    Google Analytics is used to get information about your traffic sources.

    You put in a small code on the webpage you want to track.

    You can do it on any webpage.

    What does a website have to do with it being Google analytics friendly?

    Are you talking about your site being Google 'the search engine' friendly? as in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)?

    Yes i think you don't have an idea about analytics. It is used for tracking your website's all type of results like visitors and traffic.
