Is my site delisted?

I'm a first time user and I hope this is the right section.

I have a relatively new site which appeared pretty nicely on the first page with certain keywords. However, yesterday I noticed that the site is not found with any keywords at all. I did a site: www.mysite.com and all the pages come up. I checked in the Google Diagnotics and 1 (404) error is present because changed the title to one of the pages a few days ago. The content in the site is very simple as it was built with Yahoo Site Solution. Could the 404 error be the cause of not being able to find my site with any keywords? I also did a search with ""www.mysite.com and still my site is not found. Does this mean that my site is delisted? In the Diagnostic section of my account Google does not indicate any problems other than the 404 above.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    VR

Your site is there in google index and there are 6 pages listed so sit back and wait for the new rankings.

if I search on any of my keywords... for example "cooking with nonna" none of my pages come up in the results, whereas in the past my site would come up #1 ... is that normal?

    Thanks again,

    VR

did you make any changes to your site or did your site go down for some days coz probably the rankings have dropped and you might have to wait for the new rankings to update.

yes I did make several changes to the site as I was experimenting some keyword optimizations suggested by running IPB... but nothing crazy... I never thought that the site would fall off the map the way it did. How often the new rankings are calculated... any ideas?

    Thanks,

You should get used to the erratic behavior of Google in terms of ranking websites, especially that Google is constantly changing PR nowadays. Just continue optimizing your blog and hopefully you'll get your desired top rankings. I've noticed sudden changes to my blog ranking in search engine results (Google). I used to be on page 2 for the keywords Blogging Tips but I'm seeing my blog to be at the 4th page.
