Is my site banned?

    Hey there,

2 months ago I registered - www.xalfa.info, it was going great so I decided to buy www.xalfa.com. I transferred all of my blog data from .info to .com - and redirected the .info to the .com. 2-3 days have passed and my site is still not indexed, i have around 20 yahoo answers, 20 diggs, 30 stumbles, 200 sig links and nada....

Usually my sites get indexed in 2-3 hours, the only reasoning i see behind it is that - when i transferred all my data - it considered the .com as a spam site and therefore banned it. Any ideas?

    Thanks

You should be fine. The cache date on your .info site is the 25th of last month. Give it a week or two and the new pages should get crawled via the 301 redirect from the old pages and Google will figure it out. As long as you're still getting search engine traffic via the .info pages I wouldn't worry at all.

I agree. It should be a matter of time before your pages get reindexed. Try submitting a sitemap to Google and get some more backlinks.

My site was indexed when I registered the domain, and then was not there for around 2 weeks while I was building the site, after that, it came back to google again. Just wait and check what happens.

Yahoo answers use "nofollow" tag... so, no use with it... Try to submit few of your articles to Digg and submit a sitemap... and I don't think your site is banned for no reason.

Make sure you do a 301 redirect with your htaccess files to your new domain so you wont lose any PR!

As you have redirected the old domain to the new one, it will take some time before google will index your new site. I suggest you wait for some time.
