Is My Site Banned for Good?

It has been ranking in the Top 10 for most keywords I have targeted, and suddenly it has dropped to 800 & beyond. Does this mean my website got banned?

I have heard that there may be a PR update going on, could this be the reason for the drop?

Try entering "site:www.yourdomainname.com" into google and see if you get any results.

 

i wish i knew a way to get sites reindexed after they were banned... i mean i got a site that was banned i remade it to not be against tos and yet it is still banned

Nope. PR update would not be the reason why your rankings dropped on search results. There could be some other reason, like competition, temporary ranking for new site, black hat, etc... Just to clean SEO and continue gathering quality links. That would be your way on top.

What am I supposed to say on Re-Inclusion? Also, I am listed on Google, so I guess I am not banned. But my rankings are now in the 900's for every keyword.

 

if you're listed, for sure you're not in banned
just concentrate to investigate and work on keywords then.

 

I agree with JessieJames27, you maintain quality content. do dir submission.

 

if your website is showing up then its not banned.........just concentrate on quality backlinks

There is a chance your site got penalized.. Login to Google Webmaster Tools and see if you have any messages.

I don't think your site is banned for no reason... This happened to most people.. just be patient and concentrate on posting more quality content, your site will be back to top positions again soon.

 

It's not a ban, or your site would not be in google.

It might be a penalty that caused a drop, or it could just be a google dance. Give it some time, see if things settle down. If it doesn't, start exploring a penalty as the possible cause of the issue and see if there is something on the site that might affect it's ranking.

 

Well, it happend to one of my site too. i used to rank number 1. but last 20 days i was kicked to page 8th on my domain keyword. very strange...
