Is my site banned by Google?

Hello!

I like to ask you all for some inputs and advice. My site www.rbay.com has been online since June 2004. I have several backlinks but I still have a PR of 0. The funny thing is one of my sub-pages www.rbay.com/Spy has a PR of 3. Does anyone have any idea whats going on? Has my site been banned for purchasing links or could it be because of the name?

I think the PR toolbar just needs to be updated.
Your main page prolly has at least a PR 3 or 4. since it shows 24 backlinks.

I'd say keep up the good work and be patient.
The PR toolbar does say 0 and not greyed out, meaning that you are in the GG index.

Either way I don't think you are banned.

however, I'm curious, how on earth did you get that domain? did you purchase it from someone else? if so, how much'd you pay?

 

Although hard to do, patience is the only course.

One of our sites, www.express-invitations.com went from a PR0 to a PR5 on its first PR update by Google.

Your site isn't banned but you don't have any quality backlinks that I can find except for links to the /spy subdirectory -- that would explain why that subdirectory has PR and the home page doesn't.

I see about 138 links to the homepage URL but most are from forums or templates sites.

You have more work to do to get your site to rank well...

Yeah, the PR thing happened to one of my sites too.

Jewellery design has PR3 on most of it's pages except the home page still has 0. The next PR update could be soon if they are back to the 3/4 week updates. Or it could be another 7/8 weeks if they are on a 3 month update
