link 1. from what i see you are using one ad unit and one link unit on the page. try including more ad units between posts.

for the inside post page: use ad units in between the photographs too..

There are two articles on affiliateconfession.com about the placement of adsense. Just go through them..

 

Seems to be ok to me with the placement on both page. What's your concern anyway? Just continue to monitor the ctr and make changes if necessary.

 

what do u think about changing the color? to footer banner for example, say make it stand out with orange?
