    Hello ,

I am free lancer and doing small job of ptc sites and doing psd to html and some other php/mysql work. My earning is $150-$200 / month . I have verified my account by using credit card. So, am i safe to use Paypal service or not?

    Thank you,

    waiting for reply.

i would advise strongly against paypal, they make problems where there isnt any and just limit your account, freeze your money for 180 days and make money off you. they charge 30%+ for their "services". just go with bank transfer or something ;) its less painfull in the longrun.

Safe enough, in Europe they're actually a bank now, iirc. Been using them for 10 ears and only got restricted once for a couple of weeks due to some "fraudulent login attempts" they detected on my account, sent them some scans of documents and got it unlocked.

With e-money it's not a good idea to leave more than you can afford to lose in the account as the recent closure of epassporte showed

You're definitely safe to use Paypal, but it's advisable to withdraw your money every now and then.

Hmm really? The US rates aint that favorable for me at the moment. Are there cases where paypal will just shut down your account and take all your money? I was intending to keep all the USD in my paypal till their currency gets stronger.

I think they are safe, but things can always happen. I don't keep more than $50 in my PayPal at once. Just last week someone used my paypal debit card. I have no idea how they got my information because I had my card when the transactions were made. They handled it within a day and I got my money back. But, I would say transfer your money into your bank account asap.
