Is my navigation too small on my site? (Also please review)

    Hi, I hope you can give me your opinions. I think my navigation images are too small, but my friends say it's fine. Let me know what you think.

    Link is http://bit.ly/dL2XYL and it's the IMAGE links in the sidebar (under categories). (Also, if you think it's too small, does anyone know a generator that can create similar looking buttons but a bit bigger?)

    Lastly, i'd appreciate a review of the site too. It's running on wordpress but it's heavily modified (not just with plugins but custom coding and editing too). Creative criticism welcomed.
