Is my logo a copyright infringement?

Hi,

I'm the owner of rapidproxy.co.uk, a new proxy which is yet to be launched. I made this logo for it:



But I am unsure if this is too similar to the rapidshare logo:



Please advise.

same color has an arrow- It's just your own looks weird.

 

No it isn't, it looks very different, just the colors are the same.

Definately not- if you had substituted 'share' for 'proxy' then yes, but you haven't... so it isn't!

 

Don't worry, using the same colours is not a crime. The logo is absolutely fine.

i dunno they have similiarities

it just depends if rapidshare decided to be pushy or not (I really doubt it)

I think the fact that you dont offer a similiar service to rapidshare will act in your favour
