Hi, I have recently converted from SMF to Vbulletin forum. In SMF, my site used to run very fast. Now it appears to be pretty slow to me when loading the forum page. Do you also think the forum is slow???? One of the member just complained and now i am curious. url : - http://forums.teenhut.net Is it something that in Vbulletin, to do to make it run faster? I am on a shared account with ASO, a package of 400mb and 10gb b/w? Does it matter hosting of Vbulletin? My friend told me that Vbulletin takes a lot of CPU resources to run? Much more than SMF or IPB and he was telling me to shift to VPS hosting, since Vbulletin will run slow on shared accounts, specially a pretty bigger forum. ??? Or is it due to the skin is slow? or is it that my conversion wasnt fine? Please help me.
I saw the main problem is that. When I am already on the forum homepage. I tab refresh, it refreshes in a second, but the WHO'S Online and that statitics bar at the end loads slowly, untill all the images on the page has loaded. that irritates anyone.
came back fast for me and I am in US and I like the cool design. Did not join, as I am not a teen Thanks
