Is my forum name good or bad?

I have been thinking about a domain name for my forum for a few weeks and couldn't find anything. My forum is going to be about making money on the internet, just talking about all the different methods for investing your money, web marketing, etc.
I registered www.samsforum.com . I only got it because it was easy to remember, but I don't think it's suitable for this type of forum. I am currently working on the forum layout and design, and I was wondering if I should change the name of the forum before I open it up. What do you guys think? Would you be interested in becoming a member of a forum named Sam's Forum?

 

Id have nothing against being a member of "Sam's Forum" however if it's about money making then I wouldn't as it has absoloutely nothing to do with the name.

Yea I thought Sam was a money person too. I mean its very easy to remember. I have been looking for a domain for about 3 weeks now, and I can't find shit. I just wanted to open the site before or on new year.

 

It is an easy name to remember, but a better name related to the forum will be better and it will be easier for a visitor to recognise your forum better before they view the content.

I suggest something like this domain name :

=> InternetMarketingForum.net

It is long, but 'internet marketing' will always come across someone's mind, and the word 'forum' is just being added. So the visitor will know that they can earn some money from others on that forum,

 

I found a decent domain, but its a .net , the .com is already taken by one of those people who buy a million domains and put ads on them. Do you think people might forget about the .net and might not come back?

 

You guys convinced me, I just got a new one. RichForum.net ... Better than what I had before?

 

I think SamsForum.com was fine. It was easy to remember, spell, and personable.

Rich forum is fine . samsforum can mislead people and if your competetor markets a differnt site with the name SAMSmoneymaking forum.com . which one would you think people will go ?

 

I actually do.

1. It's a com
2. Rich Forums is ambigious
3. Sams Forum is personable
4. Rich isn't a great keyword anyways

 

I guess im sticking with richforum, more people prefer it over samsforum. I hope it goes well.

I also think richforum.net is better. Don't worry that it's a .net instead of .com, I had same problem in the past, the most important is the content

 

Sams is fine... you need a mascot & an acronym now.
