Is my domain banned?

Hello. I need a quick tool which will tell me if my domain is banned. Just to clarify, I bought a new domain, but its not indexing in Google. I need to know if it was previously banned. Let me know. Thanks.

 

If site is new it takes time to get it index in google.

 

I know. It should be indexed by now. I have reason to believe it might be banned. I need a tool. Is there one available?

sign up for google.com/webmasters/tools and verify the site and you should be able to find out some things

 

iwebtool has one but they only look at if you have indexed pages - try using google.com/addurl and see if it indexes then

 

Could check your server log and see if google has crawled the page.. It may take a few days after the first crawls to get it then listed in the index.. I have a site that is the same way right now.. About 8 days old on my new domain.. But i see in my Awstats that google finally crawled my site so that was a great sign, Because at first I was thinking the site might have been flagged too.. But I hope if google crawls than google will index..

Googlebot has crawled the domain, and Im showing search terms in Awstats for weird keywords and phrases, which are not even associated with the domain. The url is still not indexed in Google though... Is it possible that the url was previously banned and dropped? I will sign up with webmaster tools and see if that helps. Thanks.

I checked with webmaster tools. There was a timeout issue with robot.txt file.

 

what does your robots.txt file look like?

 

I dont think there is anything wrong with the file. Apparently G hiccups sometimes. I have to wait now until they come back around. :-(
