    Hey,

I started a blogger blog from around two weeks about getting a free playstation 3. Then I began commenting on other blogs (relevant & non-relevant) but most are non-relevant and had the nofollow tag to get backlinks.

After getting around 300 backlinks from blogs, my site wasn't sill indexed and the pagerank bar is grey and says "No PageRank information available". I used a tool called "Quit Quick Indexing Tool" that claims to get your site indexed in less than 24 hours; my site was indexed in around 29 hours after using the tool and it showed a pagerank of zero and It was white not gray.

After that, My blog was playing around the 5th and 6th pages of search results for the keyword Free PS3. Then I opened the "Cached" page of my blog and it stated that my blog was catched on 5 Sep 2007 17:34:59 GMT.

I slept for approximately 9 hours and when I got up, I checked my blog using "site:" operator and found that It was de-indexed. Then after few hours, it was re-indexed again! but the pagerank toolbar is gray and shows" No PageRank available" and when I checked the "Cached" page again, It still shows the SAME date and time that I stated above! which is 5 Sep and exactly the same hour and minute but my blog no longer shows in any search result page.

From around 3 days, I got PR7, PR6, 2 or 3 PR5, around 5 PR4 backlinks from homepages of some blogs and they are dofollow. I checked the "CACHED" pages of these blogs and I found that they were crawled yesterday with my links on their homepages. However, the Cached page of my blog still shows the same date (not recrawled), The PR bar is still gray, my blog doesn't show again in search results although indexed, and I don't know what is happening! Please help :(

Your blog wont get a Page Rank value until the next PR update from Google. Getting indexed is completely different to obtaining PR .

Ok, is it normal to get a gray PageRank bar with "no pagerank information available" although page is already indexed?! When my blog was first indexed, it got a PR of zero not this gray thing!

That may have been an error of some sort. If your blog has only been on for 2 weeks, your PR will most likely be at "unranked" status.

You might want to register your link with Google sitemaps. Once you are verified, there is a lot of very interesting information available.

I can't post the URL to that site, as I am new in the forum. Do a search for "google sitemaps" if you do not know it.

You are have not been sandboxed by google thats for sure. I guess you should wait and watch till google's next PR update. And i agree with Noddegrama getting your site indexed and getting a PR is completely different. Though sometimes having a the PR bar as gray means you have not been indexed.
