Alexa rank tells you nothing. It's just an indication how much traffic you are getting. How well you rank in google WILL be something to follow.
I started a new blog on july 20, about the same alexa rank also, it started to go up and now having alexa rank of 1,405,792. While its true google rank is the thing to follow but it takes long long time to be updated, so I'm sticking to alexa for now. It's growing and takes time, and do some seo stuff for your blog, that helps a lot.
