Is my best blended effort questionable?

I think this is my best blended effort so far. Haven't tested it out yet.
Do you guys think Google will have a problem with it?

It's essentially 2 different sidebar columns on my blog.

What's your first impression after you see it? What's your after thought?

Interesting idea. I believe it can work but only untill somebody writes a letter to Google about your blending...

To be on the safe just place a title bar something like "sponsored ads" in order to avoid any issues with adsense.

I think that you should change the colours.

    Adsense it like Virginity...

I've just been reading a bit about this type of "extreme" blending technique.

It seems that you will be falling foul of Google's policies if you match your website content and the AdSense ads so closely that visitors could be confused over which is which. Google wrote about it in one of their blog entries (see point 2).

Also, I've just come across the following (German) website, which makes its own content look very much like the nearby AdSense ads, but uses different background colours and a border line to make the distinction:

    http://www.rankorama.de/

I wonder: (a) how well this is performing, and (b) whether or not this is acceptable according to Google... ?

Well, it looks okay to me, but yes, don't take chances if you are on the borderline.
