I would take that first google ad on the left side bar and move it up to where your "Top Spots" banner is on the top right. Blend the background to match that side bar. I'd also put a small horizontal banner where you have the "Watch the latest videos on you tube" at the very top. Blend that background also and maybe use the font color that matches the text of your blog post titles. The more ads you have in the initial visible page the more clicks you're likely to get.
Sweet! Just saw my blog on your entrecard . I would fix the width so the video unit can fit. Also, the left sidebar needs to be fixed for the ads as well. Awesome content... I would consider removing the video unit to push the content up to attract the readers, plus you'll have that 468 all the way at the top.
