    Hello Everybody !
Is MSN loves new websites ?
I have experienced that MSN loves new sites and ranks well in SERP for few early days and then swept out.
I want to know is it happens to me only or same experience anywhere else.
    Thanx in advance !

Yes, I have a website that was ranking #8 in msn for keyword 'free' (and some terms more related to the nature of the site) for the firsts two weeks with no link building other than submitting to some free directories. After that it was dropped from the results for that keyword.

Yes, MSN ranks websites and then swepts them out. I think they may be fixing this in the new Live Search Beta

I've noticed that new sites rank well too, although I usually don't pay attention to MSN long enough to see them drop down.

If MSN / Live Search had Google's search volume, I could probably retire. I have a network of website's that are only 12 to 16 months old. MSN loves them ... absolutely loves them.

But they are just making their way onto Google. Slowly, oh so slowly.

MSN seems to love content volume, title tags, and frequency of publishing. Sure links help, but you don't seem to need the kind of link popularity that Google requires.

Google obviously likes older sites with tons of relevant backlinks. Yahoo ... somewhere in the middle? These are just my observations over the years.

I have put websites onto Page 1 of MSN for competitive phrases in less than 90 days. Success in Google follows about a year later (for me anyway).

If I could do in Google what I do in MSN, I'd bottle it up and sell it. Oh yeah, I already have!

I am rating consistently on MSN but just this week I have 3* the daily visitors I used to have, MSN has had me indexed for just over 3 months now.

Just replied to a post like this. I believe msn does favor new sites at first. Although I think over time if your site does not seem to be built the way they like it to be you will slip farther back in the rankings. I don't know though have to ask a true seo expert.

Maybe they sweep those sites out after a few days because they're MFA?

MSN welcomes new websites. But it depends on the site if it will be swept out on the SERP after few days. In my experience my site is still rank #1 in major keywords. Some of them are on top 10.
