I was wondering, given when I used the free version of Moz, some of the results were wonky, and when I used SemRush, I got specfic volume results for long-term keywords, whereas Moz said those same keywords registered as zero. What to make of that?
Certainly from my experience, SEMrush seems to give better results. The area of biggest difference we noted was the speed that SEMrush picks up back-links. We've had links from high authority sites for months that Moz just doesn't notice. I guess the general impression is that SEMrush collects a lot more data than Moz. We've used the paid version of both but now use exclusively SEMrush.
The criteria, matrices, and algorithms are different to calculate the authority links for MOZ, Ahref, and SEMrush. These tools just help you to understand different matrices for websites, for backlink building, Site audit reports, and technical errors on the website. A good tool for anyone is one that is easy to understand and use and also helps you to get what you actually want. None of the tools rank your keywords but make the ranking process easy and if you get the desired results that you want by using any of the tools then that's a good option for you, just it.
SEMrush is definitely a better option than Moz but if you want a better option than both these tools, then my recommendation would be Ahrefs.
Yes, Moz is an excellent search tool for online marketing research. It provides users with up-to-the-minute data on a variety of topics, including keyword difficulty and SERP features. Additionally, the Mozbar Firefox plugin makes it easy to get detailed insights into any website, including on-page optimization information.
Moz is a great tool for SEOs and marketers. It has a lot of great features, including a keyword research tool, an on-page optimization tool, and a backlink analysis tool. Additionally, Moz offers a free subscription plan that gives you access to most of its features.
Semrush and Ahrefs are better option if you want a well rounded view about your website. Semrush is cheaper btw. We use it in our site ( https://toyscenter.gr/ ) for reporting and https://toyscenter.gr/ performance SEO metrics
Moz is good, the agency that I work with ( Our Digital Team ) they use this for my keyword rankings, seems to do a good job
Moz is a great tool to use in addition to Google Analytics. Moz Pro is a comprehensive SEO tool that helps businesses manage a wide range of facets related to their SEO including auditing, and keyword research.
Thing with Moz is that it takes awhile before your newly created backlinks are picked up and added to their DA. Moreover, it is not as closely accurate as SEMrush and Ahrefs. When it comes to link profiling and keyword research/analysis, I go Ahrefs; when it comes to traffic and keyword discovery, I go SEMrush. Their DA is the only thing I'm after in Moz, as most people, especially newbies and those self-proclaimed gurus are still looking for DA, as if it's the end-all-be-all kind of gauge.
