Is moneygram good

    Hi guys, I am planning on receiving money via moneygram. But I wanted to know how safe this is as I reside in India, but will be receiving money from the US. Do I have to have an account opened in the bank where I would get the money from? Or will I simply receive it directly as cash?

    Any problems with this method?

    I've used it once, to send money from the US to a developer in Sri Lanka. He received it with out any problems. And at a bank as far as I remember.
