Hi, I used to use Moneybookers and got the odd sale here are there but it wasn't very popular back then just wondered if many used it now? Jay
I think moneybookers is popular with people outside of the U.S. Most people don't have a problem with Pay Pal. I would never use moneybookers for a client/business transaction, but I may for something like a domain sale.
I prefer to pay with Moneybookers whenever there's an option. That being said, they certainly don't have the brand recognition that Paypal does. Most people in the US probably consider it a bit dubious since it's usually seen in association with Casinos, Online Pharmacies, etc.
Unfortunately it is not popular as Paypal. And as said above people from US always prefer Paypal. But keep your account with moneybookers too. If you are dealing with people outside US or in any country where Paypal is not supported there you can use moneybookers
I only ask because i've heard of a lot of problems using it such as not being able to withdraw funds to their bank because MB are useless at verifying accounts etc. Has anyone had any trouble with that? Jay
@jh2: I don't understand why many people answer questions that you didn't ask. Talking about Moneybookers, It very popular and very reliable, I've been using them since 2006 and never had any bad experience or delayed operation. Most of the rumors come probably from scammers, people who use Moneybookers against their terms of service and people who give fake contact details. Regards.
Hi, That's true! I did actually have problems previously with MB which is why i stopped using them. They wouldn't let me verify my account, i would pay the fee (the amount they take from your account) and then i wouldn't hear anything back.
