    I am involved in the webmaster niche mainly because I enjoy the working with the niche, I enjoy programming, I enjoy designing, etc. Money is just an added bonus.

    I'm in the webmaster bizz for freedom. I don't want to be stuck in a job 9-5. When I can wake up one morning, say "I'm going to Paris" and then hop on a plane, then I'll consider myself successful. With a normal job, but being a webmaster, I can manage ever via a satellite connection, laptop, and phone.

    I started because I saw my friend trying to start up so I wanted to help make a big site. Unfortunately I got sucked into a few things and I still can't make enough money to keep up. It drains you which is why I am looking for a part time job that I can do as I go to school and such.

    The money that comes in may be icing on the cake but I did it when it didn't make anything and I will still do it if it quits making anything.

    I consider my site to be my own little piece of cyber real estate and I can play with it the way I want to.

    So, looking at my stats to see all the people from around the world that visit my "Village" gives me a thrill. :D
