is .mobi dead?

    I think it has no potential, at least for the moment. But probably it will get buried.

    iPhones probably do the best job of showing the web in its normal state. .mobi would be best for phones that dont.

    I don't think it's dead, this is just not the right time for them yet.
    I'd give it a year or 2 before you'll see the change.
    Now is the right time to collect good .mobi domain names.
