Just checked stats today after a week of waiting for Miva to approve my Ad Campaigns!!! their stats state they have provided my site over 200 hits in 2 days, my site real stats are 2 hits yesterday and 1 today!!!

Anyone have any bad experience with Miva up til now?

Roger that James, Thanks... 200 Hits is a fair old amount to not register any on the actual site though!:(

I just posted similar post ( missed this one...) http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=184166

I didn't have problem with the reports but with the quality of the traffic..
It seems all the traffic I got from them is just bot clicking... Let me guess, those three visitors spent ZERO time on your site?

I think I'll wait my account to deplete and to forget about them for good..

    Nervo,

Actually, the Gun was jumped a tad, what had happened was they had put in what they thought the URL should be, bypassing my own affiliate link and giving 50 pounds worth of hits to the main site! they did reimburse the 50 pounds back into the account and it is currently running down now, you are 100% right, the site has now received over 100 clicks in 2 days but not one of those have moved to a second page! very suspicious and I will simply lick my wounds, mark this down as another lesson learned along life's path and walk away from Miva...

I am still looking for the Holy Grail of cheaper PPC sites though so if anyone has great experience of any other please list here, by the way is there a thread of PPC Programs tested by users anywhere in the site, where you can read everyones comments and experiences, reccommendations or avoid at all costs etc.?

    We live and learn!

i've tried miva, ask, mamma, and a few others -- i did not have a good experience with any of the smaller search engines. too much click fraud, not enough volume, and poor quality. :(

MIVA give pretty low quality traffic but it's cheap. If the numbers work then you can run with it - I've had marginal results, occasional sales and for me the jury's still out.

I was wondering about that. I did not keep a track of how much time users spent on my website. It seemed like I was getting the worst possible traffic. I would get hundreds of hits per day with not a single purchase. If you do exact same campaign with Google Adwords I would get at least couple of sales per day with less traffic coming from Google. Thank for posting. That kinda explains it. Did anyone else had some issue with MIVA?

Im a publisher with miva and don't seem to be getting many clicks on the ads, I seem to be getting ones that are not very relevant. their images seem to only consists of a logo which is not very helpful. This could be why there isnt as much traffic going to everyones sites as could be, though I could be mistaken!
