I think MS is the leader in the software world. It creates and sells the most buggy incomplete applications. No other company even comes close to creating the serious security bugs that MS creates.

You say that MS is buggy. But wasn't it proven that OSX has more security flaws than windows, just they're not exploited?

    No.
They CAN'T be exploited. OSX is Unix and there has not been a successful exploit of *nix since 2001 (and even then it was minor).

Most other Operating Systems aren't even bothered to be exploited because people barely use them. Windows is constantly being exploited since they're the top of the foodchain right now. They're the biggest software distribution company to date. Of course many hackers are going to try and exploit their system for personal gain.

Except for phones where they're non-existant. Except for the internet where they're 3rd. Except for anywhere but the desktop where they are non-existant. Yeah, you're right.
Which isn't true either but I'm sure that doesn't bother you.
And the fact that other operating systems, specifically *nix and BSD, are virtually impenetrable probably doesn't bother you when making stupid posts like this one, too.

You seem to be the misunderstood child of this forum if I'm correct. If you can prove that these so called other operating systems are "virtually impenetrable" then be my guest. If you can't prove it don't both making stupid replies.

So called? Now I know I'm talking to an amateur.
The fact that you posted this shows you know nothing, are unaware, have Microsoft blinders on, and it may be impossible to "prove" anything to you because you obviously don't have a basic understanding of how computers work at all. I'm wondering if you just got your very first computer for Christmas. Is this the very forum you were allowed to visit by your parents?

But since I'm here to educate the unclean masses, I'll start with the easiest thing at my fingertips that might not be too far over your head: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_malware

For the majority of DP posters who don't and can't read anything, here's just the first 3 paragraphs:

Everything has a weakness and Microsoft does also.

However, Microsoft software is the most used on the desktop and in many cases, better than their competitors. Sure... Security might not be the best but there are many things you can do to increase protection.

If you carefully read the sentence it states that it's well protected, but not immune. Therefore my statement is correct. No OS is "virtually impenetrable".

Oh? Then please give us your opinion on OpenBSD. And can you explain the permission system and how it blocks viruses on Unix? How would you work around that? And why is it that no virus has been successful on *nix since 2001?

I have more questions but I'm anxious for your answers.
