So I heard about Microsoft in the works of a new OS web browser called Gazelle. Is this true or just a rumor?
searched on google, no official articles from big tech news sites. means nothing confirmed I guess Van Silver.
It is still a project which is in a very early stage in R & D. Hence it is way too early to determine whether and when it would be able to see the light of the day... Regards, RightMan
Can't blame me because they are in the bottom of the SERPs for 'gazelle'. I searched for 'microsoft gazelle' now and I can see various relevent results.
I think it is a Save Gazelle project. These species are on the verge of getting extinct. Four species became extinct in recent times due to human causes. funny coz microsoft too is heading in the same direction.
You wouldn't think it would be that hard to create a solid working web browser. We can put men on the moon but no one can create a good working web browser. I'm not just referring to ie, firefox, crome and all the other browsers out there have their own problems.
Hmm.. Never heard of it. Where or how do you find about it? There are still no official article about what you called Gazelle OS.
**sigh** This is a research paper from some time back. They tested some stuff for it using IE and it was not a fully constructed browser then. Where it goes from here, who knows, cause Microsoft isn't saying, but Microsoft plays so many internal political games and turf protecting, it would mean the end of the IE team and problem for all the software that tightly integrates with it. So a best guess is you will never see this in any way, shape or form....ever.
The method sounds interesting.. ubt i don't think it's goona be worth all the hype, just like bing and Windows 7
